One of the most effective ways for you to connect and be cared for is through small groups. To this end, Church In The Gardens is committed to be a small group church. We hope you will pray about joining a small group soon! We believe it will strengthen your life immensely.
WHAT is a small group? It is an intentional gathering of people meeting at a regular time with the common purpose of discovering and growing in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Small groups are our primary vehicle in providing spiritual maturity, friendship and mutual care to each person at Church In The Gardens. Groups can meet on or off campus in homes, be mixed or single gender groups, and age or task related groups. Whatever the case, each group has a trained leader and its own focus. The hope is that each group of 10-15 people would become a nurturing “family” together. WHY is small group so important? “And day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,…” (Acts 2:46). Even though the early church met in the temple together, they also found time to meet together in smaller groups throughout the week. There are many benefits to belonging to a small group. They provide a place for fellowship with others, where we can grow closer together and build stronger relationships. They also provide a nurturing atmosphere where people have a shared interest in prayer, study the Word together and deal with real life issues. WHERE do small groups meet? We have groups that meet in various locations: Palm Beach Gardens Jupiter Loxahatchee West Palm Beach HOW do I get involved in a small group? Contact the church office with your information and a small group leader will call you.
